IDW Accounting Practice Statements (IDW AcPS)

IDW Accounting Practice Statements set forth the views of the various IDW technical committees responsible for dealing with specific accounting issues. These pronouncements are prepared in the IDW's technical committees, whose members have professional experience in the particular issues covered, and provide guidance to the profession on the interpretation of accounting principles. IDW Accounting Practice Statements do not have the same authority as the IDW Accounting Principles. Nevertheless, their application is recommended.
